Music
"Music washes
away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
~Berthold Auerbach
Check out the Songs of the Month
I love music. I was trying to think of a more eloquent way to say it, but this is most accurate and to the point. There is a type of music for any mood, any occasion. With the exception for the time needed for peace and quiet or deep concentration, music complements every other activity in my life.
And, there are physical benefits of listening to music! Studies have shown that music stimulates the brain, makes you more alert, reduces stress, increases happiness, treats Alzheimer's disease, as well as reduces your chances of getting Alzheimer's disease.
I've decided to
organize my currently favorite artists and songs in a unique categorizing system shown
below. It won't do things completely
justice and somebody may argue that a certain artist doesn't belong in a certain
category, but hey, this is my site and my categories.

Ok, so this was a
first run-through. There's many more bands that I could add (some perhaps
that I really like that I've forgotten about) but I don't feel like spending any
more time at the moment.
